The Camper Van Checklist: Making Sure You Have all That You Need For Your Next Camping Trip (And the Extra Space From the Stuff You Don’t!)
There is an old saying among camper van enthusiasts. It goes a little like this
“Take all that you think you need and stack it up in your living room. Take half of what you have staked up away and you’ll still end up with more than half of things in front of you that you’ll probably never need!”
It’s quite easy to get carried away with packing up all of the things from home that make us feel safe and comfortable from home. But camping, especially in your camper van is all about the experiences you make, not the possessions you may think you need.
On the contrary, there is nothing more irritating than digging into your travel bag and realizing you forgot something you need thats probably sitting on your night stand at home.
Making a checklist is a great pre-vacation habit to get into. It can assure you are traveling light but without the inconvenience and costly expense of having to buy items you already own.
