One of the greatest ways to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family is by owning a campervan or recreational vehicle. Motorhomes provide easy accommodations, cooking facilities and transportation to some of North America’s most beautiful destinations.

Bellow is a list of RV and Motorhome groups that plan monthly or semi-annual rallies and group caravans. Many of these clubs are a fantastic way to make life-long friendships and can offer discounts on campgrounds and retailers as well.
International Camper Club or ICC
The ICC is a club that is organized into 12 regions throughout the United States and Canada. Chapters are divided by Region I (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine) Region III (West Virginia, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee), Region IV (Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky), Region VIII (Canada) and there are various members-at-large. This club is family oriented and has a main goal of bringing those who love camping together. In the month of July the ICC hosts an international rally. Various events, campouts and rallies are held throughout the year.
Loners on Wheels
In 1969 Edith Lane founded the L.O.W. club as a fun way for singles to join together and socialize over their love of camping! This is not a dating or matchmaking service, its simply organized opportunity for singles to participate in monthly campouts and other activities. With various events throughout the United States, you can live just about anywhere and find a chapter. Some L.O.W members are full-time motor homers and caravan to spots such as the California Desert, Arizona, South Texas, Florida, New Mexico and Mexico during the winter months.
National Camping Travelers (Masonic Camping Club)
National Camping Travelers INC. is a group with the mission to bring Masonic families together for fun and community. There are chapters all throughout North America and Canada, approximately 61! Each year they host a national rally typically during the 4th week of July. NCT also offers great opportunities for charitable work and outreach programs. Mountain biking, car washes, pizza parties, historical tours, youth programs and more are just some of the activities/events NCT offers.
North American Family Campers Association
The NAFCA has a goal to bring those who enjoy camping with their family in the New England Area together for fellowship and fun. This is a great program for families seeking to instill good morals and values in their children with the NAFCA’s 7 C’s Campers Code, Care, Courtesy, Cooperation, Caution, Cleanliness, Conservation and Common Sense. Membership benefits include access to newsletters, conferences, a Christmas Party and many more social events.
National African American Recreational Vehicle Association
Geared towards campers who are African American and enjoy getting together for fun filled activities such as rallies, culturally based get together and community. This group is a non-profit organization and contributes annual donations to African American scholarship foundations and other charitable groups.
Pacific Trailer Club
The Pacific Trailer Club formed in Pomona, CA is a group of fun loving folks who love to gather their class A, class B and class C rigs together for camping and bonding! The majority of the group is empty nesters but the club has no set age restraints. Outings include the Craft and Gem Show in Quartzsite, Arizona, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and the Blue Grass Festival in Blythe California. Holiday picnics and events are held throughout the year. The members contribute fees and donate to the Guide Dogs of America charity fund.
The Rambling Misfits
This group is located in New Jersey and is made up of a diverse group of families, young couples and empty nesters. This bunch gets together for monthly campouts from March through November. Each month a different ‘wagon master’ leads the caravan and they choose the location of that months campout. New York, New Jersey, Maine and Pennsylvania are the primary locations this group camps in. They like to put on potlucks, explore, relax and make lasting memories.
Rainbow RV Club
This is North America’s largest Gay and Lesbian RV association. Since 1997 the group has attracted over 7,000 members and hosted 1,000 camping events. Couples, families and singles are all welcome to join. Class A, B’s and C’s, trailers, vans and tent campers can participate. Membership fees are $39.95 per year and events are held monthly. This organization has chapters set up by region. When you become a member you will receive a card and this will also grant you discounts at many vendors and campgrounds.
