Located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, Angels Camp RV and Camp Resort is fun for everyone. Local historical attractions include gold mining, the Mercer and Sutter Caverns, and the towns of Jamestown, Columbia and Murphy’s.
If you’re a wine enthusiast, Gold Country features many award-winning wineries nearby.
Each site includes amenities such as full hookups, Wi-Fi, laundry, dump station, 30 and 50 Amp service and propane stations.
The resort also features a pool, community fire pit, volleyball court, playground, horseshoes, tetherball, dog park and kitchenette pavilion.

Big Bears Shores RV Park, Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake, just outside of San Bernardino, is an upscale RV park featuring tennis courts, swimming pools, spas, golfing, boating and plenty of hiking. Full hook-ups are available – water, electric and sewer.
Dogs are welcome; however, there is a limit of two pups per site. Pet’s must be leashed and there is a $50 clean up fee if you don’t properly clean up after your dog.
Butterfield Ranch RV Resort, Julian

Butterfield Ranch RV Resort is a high desert campground located just outside of San Diego. Due to the mild weather in the winter, the resort is open year-round. Amenities include full hook-ups, fully stocked general store, fire pits, BBQ’s, showers and bathrooms, children’s playground, guided hikes and large group areas.
The clubhouse features a pool table, bar, fireplace and large flat-screen TV.
Butterfield Ranch is very pet-friendly and even offers free water dishes for your pooch.
Campland on the Bay, San Diego

Campland is perfect for the ultimate family beach campout experience. This park offers so many different activities that you may have to stay for the whole summer!
Located on the San Diego Bay, Campland features water sports such as jet skiing, surfing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. The beach offers volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, sun bathing and even live music in the evenings. This massive campsite also features a pool, Jacuzzi as well as an arcade.
Full RV hookups are available. Tents are available for rent as well. A laundromat and general store are located on the premise too.
Dogs are allowed but must remain on a leash. They must remain at the site or in designated dog walking areas. Pet owners must clean up after them. Rates start at $37 per night and additional pet fees apply.
Caspar Beach RV Park and Camping grounds, Mendocino

Located on the picturesque coast of Mendocino, just north of the Sonoma Coast, Caspar Beach RV/Campground is a great place to plan your next beach campout, especially when the summer heat becomes unbearable. The cooler coastal climate of Northern California is great for dogs and their owners.

Biking, hiking, picnicking and hunting are popular summer activities. Frenchman Lake is fantastic for boating, swimming and water skiing.
The campgrounds offer amenities such as fire grills at each site, drinking water and toilets. Many sites provide RV hookups.
Pets are allowed and there is no additional fee. Camping sites are available for rent as low as $18 per night.
Doheny State Beach, Dana Point

Located in the scenic beach town of Dana Point, Doheny State Beach is open year round. Volleyball courts, beach access, surfing, boating and picnic facilities make the park popular for those seeking an old fashioned beach campout. One of the coolest features of Doheny State Beach is the ability to pick a campsite steps away from the ocean.
Fire rings, restrooms, showers, a dump station and a visitor’s center are accessible. The campgrounds provides full RV hookup sites as well as tent camping sites.
Dogs are permitted, but not allowed on the beach. There is no additional pet fee.
